The University of Economics Varna is a university of 95 years of history and established tradition in the area of higher education and science. In all Bulgarian-university rankings published in the recent years (by employer organizations, media and sociological agencies), UE - Varna always ranks amongst the top five of the leading and best preferred universities in Bulgaria. UE - Varna offers over 30 specialisms and educates 13000 students in the three academic levels – bachelor, master and doctor of philosophy. The development of the university and the interest to it, as well as the good management assure for a stable financial situation, which provides for sustainable and major investments in the maintenance and enrichment of the university facilities, of sufficient and quality staff of lecturers and their scientific development, which, in turn, is a guarantee for the quality of training and preparation of excellent specialists with potential for rewarding careers.

The UE - Varna library is amongst Bulgaria's most modern libraries with its up-to-date technical equipment and fully automated process of handling and control of the library fund and attendance to the readers. The Library occupies area of 2100 sq.m. and has a spacious reading room, which provides conditions for independent work and use of the Library’s literature and electronic resources. To-day, the Library avails of a robotized scanner of the highest class and specially-appointed server of sufficient capacity for the handling and storage of the digitalized fund.
